Play On!

A Free Summer Playwriting Program

Do you like theater or really dramatic stories? Would you like to write a play? Would you like to see your play performed?

If the answer is “yes”- join us next summer at Play On!

In this 7 week summer program you will:

  • Learn how to read scripts and important dramatic elements like dialogue, characters, and plot

  • Write your own 5-10 minute play, getting feedback from the group plus a 1:1 session with your playwriting teacher

  • See your script be rehearsed by a professional director and a group of actors

  • See a staged reading performance of your work at Moore Jackson Cemetery and Community Garden
