Lillian Meredith
Founder, Artistic Director

Lillian Meredith was born and bred on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and now resides in Jackson Heights, Queens with her husband and two children. As a director, performer, and writer, her work has been seen around the city and across the country, including Boise Contemporary Theater, ANT Fest at Ars Nova, IRT, Soho Rep, Clubbed Thumb, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Columbia University, FURY Factory of Ensemble Theater, and Dixon Place, among many others. She is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab, the Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab, and the Clubbed Thumb Early Career Directors Fellowship. Caitlin Wells
Managing Director

Caitlin’s work has been seen on The High Line, West Side Fest, El Barrio Artspace PS109, BRIC, Terminal 5, Littlefield, PBS North Carolina, Culture Mill, and NPR, and her theater company Delta Boys produced southeastern theatrical regional premieres for 10 years. She's acted under directors T. Ryder Smith, Christopher McElroen, Em Cole of 1st Ave Machine, and Dash Barber; performed at Yale, Lincoln Center, The Actors’ Temple, Triskelion, INTAR, and The New Ohio; and interned with The Wooster Group. Caitlin has also designed and taught arts and social justice-oriented curricula across the United States, Spain, and China, and currently works as an associate director with Brooklyn's DreamStreet Theatre Company. She has been given residencies with Drop Forge & Tool, Turkey Land Cove Foundation, Spark Box Studio, Queen Street Magic Boat, and The Tank, as well as grants for the development of new work from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, Manbites Dog Theater Fund, and City Artist Corps. Abel McDonnell
President

Abel is an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. He previously served as a law clerk to Judge Jenny Rivera on the New York Court of Appeals, and was a litigation associate at two large law firms. Before attending law school, Abel taught middle and high school English in Brooklyn and Somaliland. He is a graduate of Vassar College and NYU Law School, and lives in Jackson Heights, Queens.

 

Emily Abrons
Secretary

Emily Abrons is a writer and editor from New York City. She received an MFA in fiction from the Literary Arts Program at Brown University and is currently at work on a novel. 

 

Anthony Deluise
Treasurer

Anthony is a global macro investor at Element Capital where he focuses on equities and systematic strategies. Prior to joining Element, he worked at Bridgewater Associates. Anthony lives in New York City and was born and raised there.

 

Roman Vann Jackson

Roman Vann Jackson has nearly 20 years of experience as a social sector/ philantropic practitioner. He currently serves as Vice President of Community and Policy Solutions at JobsFirstNYC. In this role, Roman leads the organization’s community and policy solutions work, where he focuses on identifying, designing and advancing practices and policies that achieve better outcomes for young adults. Before joining the JobsFirstNYC team, he worked at JPMorgan Chase as a program officer for its Private Foundation Services team, where he engaged with over 60 foundations and worked closely with trust officers, trustees, and grants managers to manage the day-to-day operations of grant-making, including making grant-making decisions. Before joining JPMorgan Chase, Roman worked for six years at the Annenberg Foundation. There, he managed various aspects of the Annenberg Alchemy Leadership Seminars for nonprofit executive directors and board members and served as a grantmaker in the Community Grantmaking Program. He also worked at the Harlem Children’s Zone, where he served in various roles, including multimedia arts instructor and research assistant to the director of education and quality control. He serves on the board of Broadway Housing Communities, where he is the former chair of the Development and Marketing Committee, and is a mayor appointed board member of the Studio Museum of Harlem. Roman holds a bachelor’s degree in government and legal studies from Bowdoin College.

 

Angela Santillo

Angela Santillo is an award-winning playwright and nonfiction writer based in New York City. Her plays have been produced around the country, including productions in New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, and Asheville. With The Motor Company, she has written for numerous Communal Spaces festivals and kicked off the Play On! education class in 2023. She was a finalist for the Jerome Fellowship, Samuel French OOB Festival, and the 2022 Henley Rose Playwright Competition. She is an experienced producer and marketer and currently leads the branding and content team for a technology startup. She has an MFA in Theater from Sarah Lawrence College. 

 

Henry Parr

Henry Parr is an attorney whose practice includes complex commercial disputes, antitrust litigation, and government investigations.  He is currently a litigation associate at Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP in New York City. Prior to working at Kasowitz, Henry was a law clerk for Judge Jenny Rivera of the New York Court of Appeals and a staff attorney at the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Henry received a J.D. from Fordham University and a B.A. from Hampshire College. He lives in Park Slope and grew up in Manhattan.

 

Jamaal Redon

Jamaal Redon in a Licensed Real Estate Agent with The Corcoran Group. His primary focus has been assisting his clients in buying and selling homes throughout Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan, but he has also sold a myriad of properties throughout all of New York City. He previously worked in foster care, where his primary role was finding suitable homes for foster children. Jamaal graduated from Bowdoin College with a degree in psychology and a minor in theater arts. Originally from Boston, MA, he now resides in the Mott Haven section of the South Bronx. 

 

Anton Handel

Anton Handel is originally from Maine and has recently moved back to New York after a decade in Los Angeles working in TV and film. Playwriting credits include: Silos of Duanesburg and Analogue, FullStop Collective; The Internauts, The Live Ones, The Motor Company.

 

Tom Meredith

Tom is a lead engineer for Arthur AI, a startup focused on machine learning monitoring and fairness. Originally from Manhattan, he currently lives in Red Hook, NY.
